Frühpädagogische Fachkräfte sind vor dem Hintergrund der gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen ein bedeutender Faktor bei der Herstellung und Beibehaltung von sozialem Frieden und gesellschaftlichem Zusammenhalt in Deutschland. Um die integrative Funktion ernst zu nehmen, braucht es Demokratieerziehung von Anfang an und Fachkräfte benötigen zeitliche Ressourcen für die Zusammenarbeit mit Familien und zur Selbstreflexion. Hier sind Träger und Politik gefragt, geeignete Rahmenbedingungen zu schaffen.
