Against the background of the world population growth, accompanied by increasing water demand on the one hand and at least regionally decreasing freshwater resources as a consequence of climate change on the other hand, reclaimed water is increasingly considered as a valuable substitute for natural water resources. DWA has recently published an extensive report covering a variety of aspects to be considered within the scope of non-potable water reuse.
