  abstract  = {Bisher liegen kaum empirische Daten zur Bedeutung von Online-Selbsthilfeangeboten f{\"u}r Menschen mit Traumafolgest{\"o}rungen vor. Im Rahmen einer Online-Befragung haben N = 137 Menschen mit Traumafolgest{\"o}rungen, die Online-Selbsthilfeforen nutzen, offene Fragen zu den Vorteilen, Nachteilen und Grenzen von Online-Selbsthilfeforen sowie zu den wahrgenommenen Ver{\"a}nderungen in verschiedenen Lebensbereichen durch die Nutzung von Online-Selbsthilfeforen beantwortet. Die Antworten wurden mithilfe einer quantitativen Inhaltsanalyse ausgewertet. Am h{\"a}ufigsten wurden Vorteile bez{\"u}glich des Peer-to-Peer-Austauschs genannt, die ein Zugeh{\"o}rigkeitsgef{\"u}hl und Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe umfassten. Eine m{\"o}gliche Destabilisierung durch die Forennutzung wurde als Nachteil thematisiert. Die mit dem Online-Format einhergehende Anonymit{\"a}t wurde gleichermaßen als Vorteil sowie als Nachteil benannt. Als Folge der Nutzung wurden haupts{\"a}chlich intrapersonelle Ver{\"a}nderungen, Ver{\"a}nderungen in professionellen Unterst{\"u}tzungsangeboten sowie soziale Kontakte betreffende Ver{\"a}nderungen genannt. Ein substanzieller Teil der Befragten erw{\"a}hnte Verzahnungen zwischen Forenteilnahme und Psychotherapie, zwei Drittel befanden sich zum Erhebungszeitpunkt in Behandlung. Wie sich unterschiedliche Unterst{\"u}tzungsangebote gegenseitig beeinflussen und diese maximal f{\"o}rdernd kombiniert werden k{\"o}nnen, sollte zuk{\"u}nftig erforscht werden.},

  abstract  = {Based on an integration of socioecological systems and intergroup contact theory, we hypothesized that the context in which intergroup contact takes place moderates its association with attitudes toward refugees. To test this prediction, majority members in Germany reported in three studies (Ntotal = 695) how often they have had positive and negative direct and indirect contact with refugees in different contexts and their attitudes toward refugees. While the association between direct contact and intergroup attitudes was relatively context-independent, the association between indirect contact and attitudes toward refugees strongly depended on context. Indirect contact was more strongly associated with attitudes toward refugees in contexts with close relationships (family and friends) than in contexts with distanced relationships (newspaper and TV).},
